Dr. Justin McElvain, DDS is the proud owner of Lone Star Family Dental, a family-owned private practice located in Fairview, Texas. A proud graduate of Texas A&M and Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry, Dr. McElvain has been providing trusted, compassionate care to the community for over a decade. August 2025 marks 10 years of serving Fairview and the surrounding area with high-quality, personalized dental care.
Dr. McElvain met his wife, Paige, while they were both in dental school; he was studying dentistry, and she was pursuing dental hygiene. Together they have three wonderful children: Nixon (8), Audrey (6), and Gavin (2). They love traveling as a family, especially to beach destinations. Dr. McElvain enjoys spending time outdoors with his kids, teaching them to fish and exploring the creek near their home. Faith plays a central role in their lives. The McElvain family is deeply rooted in their Christian faith and is passionate about sharing God’s word and attending church together. Family is at the heart of everything they do and that same spirit carries through to the way Lone Star Family Dental cares for its patients.

John mcdaniel, d.d.s.
Meet Dr. McDaniel
The practice is truly a family affair, with Dr. McElvain’s father-in-law, Dr. John McDaniel, also serving patients.
Dr. John McDaniel has been practicing dentistry since graduating from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1986. He owned and operated his own private practice in Mesquite for over 30 years before stepping away in 2019. After moving to Lucas to be closer to family, he joined Lone Star Family Dental part time in 2021.
Dr. McDaniel is the father of three and the very proud “Poppy” to eight beautiful grandchildren. Outside of dentistry, Dr. McDaniel is a jack of all trades who enjoys all things outdoors, especially if it involves his grandchildren. He’s also a licensed ham radio operator and enjoys connecting with others across the airwaves as a favorite hobby.
Patients appreciate his calm, down-to-earth demeanor and his ability to make everyone feel comfortable in the chair!
